Manager - Advanced Wood Materials, FPInnovations

Jean-François Bouffard holds a bachelor's degree in wood engineering and a master's degree in wood sciences, with his research focusing on optimizing secondary wood processing. Before becoming the manager of the Advanced Wood Materials research group at FPInnovations, he worked as a wood processing engineer at Autolog from 1999 to 2001 and at Roche Ltd., Consulting Group from 2003 to 2006. Since 2006, Mr. Bouffard has been working at FPInnovations, where he has held various positions, including researcher, senior researcher, project manager, and now team manager. These roles have provided him with extensive experience optimizing and controlling wood processing processes.
