Véronic Landry is a chemist with a Ph.D. in wood science and a full professor in the Department of Wood and Forest Sciences at Université Laval. She also holds the NSERC Industrial Research Chair - Canlak in Interior Wood Product Finishing and has been the Renewable Materials Research Centre (CRMR) Director since 2022.

Her experience as an NSERC Industrial Research Chair holder will be a significant asset in co-directing the research consortium. Her background and expertise in polymer chemistry and its interaction with wood will be leveraged to develop bio-based adhesives and finishing products for wood-based composite panels.
